This was a grant-funded project from TEA. BluePoint is a Life-Safety Response Platform that integrates and enhances our notification systems in the event of a LOCKDOWN, much like a fire alarm being pulled.

This system provides real-time information to our Police Services dispatch and staff via a text message with important information. BluePoint Police Pull Stations should be activated if an individual is in imminent life-threatening danger from an intruder. The blue boxes are used only when there is a dangerous intruder. This is much more serious than a 911 police voice call because it will bring multiple police cars from all over the area.

PARENT, STUDENTS, and COMMUNITY MEMBERS if you see the beacon (pictured below) strobing, this notifies you that there is a danger inside the campus and to NOT ENTER under any circumstances.
