Information for University Professors/College Instructors
The La Vernia ISD Human Resources Department must approve all requests for college/university field placements. This includes all practicums and observations

Note: Students should contact the La Vernia District office.
Direct each student to the Criminal History Authorization request form and Practicum Agreement available through the HR forms field.

Note: Avoid District/State test dates when making field placement arrangements. Submit your request for placement via email to: Elena.McFadin@lvisd.org. All students must clear the criminal history check before the request will be approved and returned to you via email.

Information for University Students

The La Vernia ISD Human Resources Department must approve all requests for college/university field placements. This includes all practicums and observations.

Please contact your university or college if you are interested in a placement at a campus in the La Vernia ISD. Your university or college must contact La Vernia Human Resources, complete a Request for Field Placement form and submit it to the Human Resources Department for approval.

Students should not contact the campus.

Students must complete: Criminal History Authorization request form and Practicum Agreement

Students must have a satisfactory outcome of the criminal history check before placement can be approved by Human Resources. Students must attend 1 of our substitute training (we have 3 per year) before she/he can go to the assigned campus

Allow 5 to 10 working days for processing.
