TEKS Resource System
TEKS Resource System, the curriculum framework used in LVISD, has introduced a new feature that allows parents and members of the general public to access lessons without having to enter a username and password. You may access this site by clicking here.
Please be aware that each district determines how lessons are to be used. LVISD does not mandate these lessons; rather, teachers are encouraged to review and use them as they feel best fit into their instructional units. Teachers use a Year-at-a-Glance (Scope and Sequence document) to ensure that the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills are taught in a manner that will prepare students for excellence in achievement. Please note that Social Studies lessons are under review by TEKS Resource System and the State Board of Education; information about when these lessons will be available will be forthcoming.
We hope that you will find this information to be useful. You are always encouraged to contact your child’s teacher or school for information regarding content or material actually being used in the classroom.
Thank you for your interest in your child’s education.
