Dr. Jose H. Moreno
I am honored to serve as superintendent of the La Vernia ISD. Our vision to realize that all students will be Creative Learners- Engage. Educate. and Empower and our commitment to “know every student by name and need” is of the utmost importance in the lives of our students as we work to shape their futures. It is our primary responsibility to be of service to our students in order to ensure that all students are prepared for the college or university of their choice, conditioned to join the military, or prepared to be contributing citizens in the workforce. Our student preparation begins with the moral values instilled by our parents and the core values that we teach in our school system from the time they are in PK to the time they graduate as Seniors.
The opportunities for our students are greater today than ever before. It is my hope that whether you are a student, parent, employee or community member you will partner with us to meet the bold goal in our Achieve Today. Excel Tomorrow. strategic plan: 100 percent of LVISD students will graduate exceptionally prepared for college, career and citizenship.
With your support, we can realize our vision to be premier school district and a leader in education. It’s what we want, and what our students deserve.
